The Rev. Cheryl Hoffman

Pastor Cheryl Hoffman was called to St. Mark in the summer of 2017.

She graduated Millersville University with a B.A. with  honors in Social Work and a minor in sociology. Serving as Director of Youth Ministry for St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Manheim, Pennsylvania, Pastor Hoffman entered seminary at Lancaster Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Arts in Religion. She received her Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia.

Ordained in 1999, she was called as Pastor to Zion Lutheran Church, Marietta, Pennsylvania. She later contracted as supply Pastor for St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Strasburg, Pennsylvania.

Pastor Hoffman delights in the privilege of walking with individuals & congregations: listening to, learning about & being a part of their stories & lives. She also enjoys planning & leading worship and creating an atmosphere in which the Spirit can move, stretch & grow the faith of individuals & a congregation.

Her parents live in central PA, where she grew up. One sister and her family live in northern CA. Her Glastonbury companions are two cats, J (a regal feline, black with a white spot at his throat, similar to a pastor's tab collar) & Chloe (also black, about six years younger than J, spunky & likes to growl at her tail & chase imaginary friends about the parsonage).

Pastor Hoffman likes to crochet, put together jigsaw puzzles, walk in the woods & travel, somewhat farther afield.

At Glastonbury's J.B. Williams park, October 2022, outdoor worship & picnic with St. James & St. Luke Episcopal Churches.
